Cylinder temperature: The temperature that needs to be controlled during the injection molding process includes cylinder temperature, nozzle temperature and mold temperature. The first two temperatures mainly affect the plasticization and flow of plastics, and the latter temperature mainly affects the flow and cooling of plastics. Each kind of plastic has a different flow temperature, the same kind of plastic, due to the source or grade is different, its flow temperature and decomposition temperature is different, this is due to the average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution is different, plastic in different types of injection machine plasticization process is also different, so the selection of cylinder temperature is not the same.
The nozzle temperature: The nozzle temperature is usually slightly lower than the highest temperature of the barrel, which is to prevent the "salivation phenomenon" that may occur in the straight-through nozzle. The temperature of the nozzle can not be too low, otherwise it will cause the early solidification of the molten material and the nozzle will be blocked, or the performance of the product will be affected because of the injection of the early solidification material into the mold cavity.
Mold temperature: Mold temperature has a great impact on the internal performance and apparent quality of the product. The mold temperature depends on whether the plastic is crystalline, the size and structure of the product, the performance requirements, and other process conditions (melt temperature, injection speed and injection pressure, molding cycle, etc.).
